Kansas City's cigar scene spans Westport, the Crossroads, North Kansas City, the Northland, the Plaza, Lee's Summit, Gardner, and the Kansas side of the metro. Long-running shops such as Fidel's, The Cigar Room, Outlaw, Cigar & Tabac, and Diebel's sit alongside newer lounges like Sherri's Executive Lounge, La Cultura, Ash Cigars KC, The Shop, Ash & Anvil, and Whiskey Beard.
Rules vary across the metro. Some spots are cigar shops with seating, some are membership-friendly lounges, some are BYOB, and The Cigar Box is a bar and restaurant with a humidor but no indoor cigar smoking. Check current hours and outside-cigar policies before you go.

Fidel's Cigar Shop
Westport cigar shop operating since the late 1990s with more than 300 cigars, pipes, accessories, and the Graycliff Smoking Lounge. It is a retail-first stop with seating and private humidified lockers.
La Cultura Cigar & Social
Southwest Boulevard cigar shop and social lounge with a humidor, lounge rooms, pool, TVs, events, and BYOB policy. It is walk-in friendly, but day, month, and annual lounge-pass details should be checked before visiting.
Outlaw Cigar & Brewery
North Kansas City Outlaw location combining a cigar shop, smoking lounge, and on-site brewery. Weekend hours run later, and the venue hosts live music and cigar events.
The Outlaw Cigar Co.
Outlaw's Northland cigar shop and lounge at 6234 N Chatham Ave. It is separate from the brewery location and focuses on the humidor, retail selection, leather seating, TVs, and regular shop hours.
Ash Cigars KC
Northland cigar shop and lounge with premium cigars, accessories, a large lounge, and posted daily public hours. It is a cigar-focused neighborhood lounge, not a cocktail bar.
Outlaw Cigar Co. - Outlaw South
Outlaw's Overland Park shop and lounge with a large humidor, multiple leather-seat lounge areas, TVs, poker tables, lockers, and regular public hours. It is one of the strongest Kansas-side metro lounge options.
Cigar & Tabac Ltd.
Long-running Overland Park tobacconist with premium cigars, accessories, a smoking lounge, and a retail-first atmosphere. Treat it as a classic shop lounge rather than a cocktail bar.
The Cigar Room
Downtown Lee's Summit cigar shop with a large walk-in humidor, smoking lounge, TVs, Wi-Fi, refreshments, and a traditional shop-lounge setup. Confirm hours before crossing the metro.
Sherri's Executive Lounge
Veteran- and woman-owned executive cigar and jazz lounge on West 39th Street. Sherri's opened in 2024 with standard public lounge hours plus 24-hour member access, live music, events, and cigar-and-whiskey pairings.
Classic Blends Cigar & Coffee Lounge
North Kansas City cigar-and-coffee business with two listed locations: a Burlington Street evening lounge and a newer E 21st Ave daytime cigar-and-coffee location. This guide maps the E 21st Ave shop, so match your visit to the location and hours that fit your plans.
Diebel's Sportsmens Gallery
Country Club Plaza cigar shop and lounge operating since 1954. Diebel's has a members' cigar lounge and allows non-members to smoke in the lounge with a qualifying purchase.
The Shop Cigar Lounge
Kansas City, Kansas cigar shop and lounge in Strawberry Hill with more than 6,000 square feet of entertainment space, premium cigars for purchase, day-pass access, memberships, and event rentals. BYOB is allowed with a bottle corking fee for non-members.
Ash & Anvil Cigar Lounge
Downtown Gardner cigar lounge in a restored former blacksmith shop with a large premium-cigar selection, lounge seating, a relaxed Cubano-feel atmosphere, and long daily hours. It is on the southwest edge of the Kansas City metro, so plan it as a Kansas-side destination rather than a quick downtown stop.
Whiskey Beard Barbershop & Cigar Lounge
Crossroads barbershop and cigar lounge at the same 1600 Cherry Street address. The lounge offers day-pass and monthly access with BYOB or shared bottle service, so treat it as a barbershop-plus-cigar-club model rather than a traditional tobacconist.
